Kelsey Marie Makes:

What began as a way to supplement my teaching income has blossomed into something much more. KelseyMarieMakes is my platform for exploring various creative endeavors. I purposely left the name open-ended, allowing it to evolve with each new creative pursuit.

With a decade of teaching experience under my belt, I've chosen to focus on expanding my small creative business and furthering my education. My goal is to advocate for arts integration in education and deepen my understanding of how the arts enhance cognition.

Within my personal portfolio, you'll find a glimpse into my artistic voice and the results of my arts-based research, influenced by my graduate studies at the University of Cincinnati. I am an advocate for creative pedagogy and its integration into the public sector. My focus is on how perception, cognition, and memory are explored through creative practices.

I collaborate across the tri-state hosting small art gatherings, workshops, and creative events. I create one of a kind paintings based on one of a kind memories.
